There was a span of time where I looked at a few fashion blogs and wondered how interesting or fashionable my outfits were.
And then, it hit me.
I don’t care.
I’m not a fashionista. I like clothes, but they’re not my life.
I’m just a little Asian science & swing dance nerd who dresses pretty normal and sometimes wears funky-colored socks, but likes what she wears.

Tyler Clementi. And Me. And You. →
So I’ve spent the past few hours reading this and almost all the comments on this epic thing.
And I’m extremely humbled.
I wasn’t able to express what I felt at the time of the occurrence, but this says it all and far more than I ever could.

God blesses me so much more than I deserve. I don’t know why I keep putting worthless things before Him.

Rate My Professors is so addicting!
Honestly, though, having the worst, but well-meaning, professors has really taught me to fend for myself and learn material on my own. That’s so valuable to just growing in life in general.
So, I’m grateful for both my awesome and terrible professors. :)

Wow, now I know what it feels like to be bombarded with someone else’s views when he barely knows who I am or cares about me.
It’s taught me a few things about myself, but also a clear lesson.
Please never ever let me be like that.

RU Bucket List: A Note from Samantha →
Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to write, expressing my sincere enthusiasm for this project.
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Samantha Smitte, and I transferred to Rutgers in the summer of 2009. After finishing a great first year, it dawned on me that I had a mere 12 months left to…
I think this blog is really adorable! Reading this makes me want to do so much more in these...

Math is a big dog.
Analogy borrowed from Elaine at Dan Meyer’s blog
So I’m teaching Algebra 2 this summer. Man, is it tough.
This is the cushiest teaching job: pretty chill boss and students who will at the very least not defy you every step of the way. Yes, there are the complainers, but there are also the most determined kids you’ll ever meet. (And the geniuses, don’t forget them.)...

"Letter to Non-Believers" by Shane Claiborne →
I know can’t force you to give this article a shot.
I know I don’t understand the bad experiences you’ve had with people who call themselves Christians.
I understand that these words on a computer screen don’t make up for it.
I don’t have all the answers. In fact, I know extremely little.
But at the core of everything is what I’m sure most people have...

Floral print.
I desperately want a granny couch floral print dress.
And I find that hilarious. :)
Looking at all these clothes is strange for me, though. I feel kind of materialistic.

I would really like to play that, actually.
I am completely and utterly freaked out.
